DiskStation is a cloud based workspace, a virtual computer. It is mainly used to store, manage, and share files - pictures, documents, or anything else.
- File Station - a file browser allowing management of all files (https://andliz.synology.me:5001/file).
- Synology Photos - to manage all your pictures (https://andliz.synology.me:5001/photos).
- Drive - to manage your Drive files (similar to Google Drive) (https://andliz.synology.me:5001/drive).
- Synology Chat - a private chat with the DiskStation users (https://andliz.synology.me:5001/chat).
- Check your email for user name and a temporary password.
- Go to the portal - https://andliz.synology.me:5001 or https://andliz.synology.me and click DiskStation. It is going to ask for a new password.
- Recommended - For the best security, set up 2-factor authentication. In the Portal, click on your profile > Personal > Sign-in Method > 2-Factor Authentication. It is required to install Synology Secure Signin app on your phone.
- Install Synology Photos Mobile on your phone.
- Use the following to log in:
- server: andliz.synology.me
- user: [your user]
- password: [your password]
- HTML: Enabled
- To enable photo backups, go to More > Photo Backup.
Note: All pictures will be stored in your home folder - /home/Photos.
- Install Synology Drive app on your phone
- Use the following to log in:

- To enable photo backups, go to More > Photo Backup.
Note: All Drive files are store in your home folder - /home/Drive
- Using a computer, log in to Drive by going to Portal > Applications (left upper corner) > Drive or https://andliz.synology.me:5001/drive.
- Download Drive app and install it on a computer. A little banner will be presented with a link or go to your profile (left buttom corner) > Client > Download client.
- Use the following to log in:

- user: [your user]
- password: [your password]
- HTML: Enabled
- There are two modes: synchronization (preferred) - any changes to a source folder on a computer are immediately reflected on the server, backup - files are backed up on a schedule or manually.
